Learn more about our Healthcare Facilities Engineering Learning Management System (LMS)
Our learning system is developed as a multi-level, self-paced program adapted for both initial training and continuing education for all physical plant technicians and facility management disciplines. Our courses include all code and standard references necessary for reporting to all certifying and governing bodies. Just as important, our courses are designed to improve the reliability of equipment through tried and tested maintenance, operations and testing protocols. In addition, the courses include suggested forms for documenting all procedures and preventive maintenance activities in case there arises a need to prove your practices in a court of law.
The MGI LMS offers three designations
Level 1: Healthcare Technician
Individual completes all "Basics" courses associated with one specialty area. Certificate of completion awarded online after successfully passing self-guided, knowledge-based test. Students can pursue completion in one, two or all specialty areas.
* CEUs available .1 CEU good towards ASHE CHFM and SASHE/FASHE credentials.
Level 2: Healthcare Specialist
Individual can elect to take an online knowledge-based test in a specialty area that covers both basics and advanced material. Timed test is administered online. Certificate of completion awarded online. Students can pursue Healthcare Specialist designation in one, two or all specialty areas.
Level 3: Healthcare Facilities Master Specialist
Individual can elect to take an online knowledge-based test that covers ALL specialty areas. Timed test is administered online. Certificate awarded from MGI Corporate.
